THE Romoff family of clothing designers has ventured into their first residential real estate offering, promising “more than strategic real estate planning.”

Viranclava Realty, owned and managed by the Romoffs who are among Cebu’s families known for their fashion business, developed Palazzo Uno, a nine-story condominium with 34 private residences on Escario St. and Gorordo Ave., Cebu City.

San Jose, Antique (25 March) -- The surge in the infrastructure spending ordered by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo as the Philippine economy's firewall from the slowing down of the US economy and other major world economies was supported by the 2008 budget.

The President said of the 2008 P 1.227 Trillion budget some P200 billion has been allotted for infrastructure budget this year to serve as springboard to boost the country's economic growth, the report pointed out.

THE need for security and fast-paced lifestyle has prompted a property developer to build another condominium in Cebu City.

Commonwealth Estate Inc. (CEI) last Thursday broke ground at the site of its latest mid-rise condominium project, Woodcrest Residences, at Don Gervacio Quijada St. in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City. 

UPSCALE residential developer Landco Pacific Corp. will introduce this April its new cluster development, dubbed the North Ridge, inside its flagship real estate project in the metropolis, the Monterrazas de Cebu.

The North Ridge, which spans 30 hectares—just a little below the mountain peak development—is estimated to accommodate 100 lots each with a cut of 350 square meters.

The community enclave will include house and lots, townhouses and mid-rise condominiums, said Michael Reyes, Landco vice president and head of the Visayas and Mindanao group.
